Certified Industrial Sites
The North Carolina Certified Sites Program's statewide initiative is to proactively identify and analyze industrial sites to help speed the creation of jobs and investment in the state. The certification process includes securing commitments to support development at specific sites, and proactive analysis of site development costs, environmental issues, and utility service. Certified sites assist clients looking into "greenfield" sites, saving them both valuable time and investment dollars in the development process. In order for a site to receive Certified Site status, an application is made which contains each of the 30 items required by the state. For more information on how to apply for Certified Site status, click HERE. The Certified Site Application Form and related documents for each site listed below are available - contact us for more information.

The table below lists the sale properties in our area which have been designated as Certified Industrial Sites; for each property, the size (ACRES) and county (CO) in which the site is located are indicated (E = Edgecombe, N = Nash). In addition, site photographs and detailed descriptions are accessible by clicking on the small camera icon in the next to last column. Finally, you can take a video aerial tour of selected sites by clicking on the video camera icon in the last column (video clips are presented in Windows Media format, and are intended for high-bandwith connections - the clips are large, so please be patient while they download).
